Who we are
Thrive Education is a real estate education initiative presented by Omar Samad, Broker of Record, and Isra Sattar, with Royal LePage Signature-Samad Homes Realty, Independently Owned and Operated Brokerage ("we", "us" and "our"). This statement explains how we collect, use, share and protect personal information through our seminar pages, registration forms, surveys and events, including Unlock the Condo Code: Mimico Chapter.
What we collect
- Registration details: your name, email address, phone number, how you heard about us and your consent choices.
- Survey answers: if you complete the pre-qualification survey, information such as where you want to buy, what type of buyer you are, the type of property you want and general financial readiness.
- Event details: whether you attended, questions you ask and benefits you claim.
- Technical information: pages visited, device and browser type, and the link, QR code or source that brought you to us, collected through cookies, analytics and advertising pixels.
How we use it
- To register you and send your virtual link, your Savvy Condo Buyer Toolbox and event reminders.
- To deliver the benefits you sign up for, such as your affordability evaluation, financial health check and, for live attendees, your F45 pass.
- With your consent, to send you educational content, market updates and information about real estate and mortgage services.
- To understand which partners and channels bring people to our events, and to improve future events.
Who we share it with
- Tiffany Group (our mortgage partner): when you consent, your contact details and survey answers are shared with Tiffany Group so they can provide your affordability evaluation and Mortgage Health Checkup. Tiffany Group handles your information under its own privacy policy.
- Service providers: companies that help us run our events, such as our website and registration platform, email and text messaging, video meeting and lead tracking tools. They may only use your information to provide services to us.
- Sponsors: we do not sell or rent your personal information, and we do not share it with our sponsors except where needed to deliver a benefit you choose to claim, such as your F45 pass.
- Legal and regulatory: where required by law or by our regulator.
Your consent and choices
We only send you commercial emails, calls and texts with your consent. You can withdraw your consent at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email, replying STOP to a text message, or emailing osamad@samadhomes.com. You can also control cookies through your browser settings.
Storage, security and retention
Some of our service providers store information on servers outside Canada, including in the United States, where it may be subject to the laws of those countries. We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information and keep it only as long as needed for the purposes above or as required by law.
Access and correction
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it where the law allows.
